THE LEAMINGTON AND WARWICK MODEL RAILWAY SOCIETY SHOW
We will again be at the L&WMRS Show on Sat 3rd & Sun 4th March 2018
Anyone willing to help in the manning of the clubs stand please let me know.For those who have never been before this is an excellent show with a good selection of layouts and traders.

DRIVEWAY TO CUTLERS FARM
We have recently received the following communication from the landlords:
“As you are aware the driveway to Cutlers has suffered considerably as a result of the extreme winter we have had this year.
We have received quotations for repairs and have been advised that it would not be sensible to undertake the work until at least May. This does mean that the drive is going to remain a bit of a hazard for the next few months.
I would be grateful if you could let everyone who comes up to your office regularly to drive slowly and with caution to avoid the worst of the potholes.”

WORSHOPS
As well as the clubs ‘Autumn Project’ which was designed to give those with little or no experience a chance to have a go at various aspects any other areas that members would like to see, such to DC or not DCC or Soldering for the ham fisted?

THE BIG TIDY UP
Well done to all who assisted in the BIG tidy up in January
Also, will the last members leaving the club room ensure that everything is turned off!

‘AT HOMES’
Again this year we will try to arrange some ‘At Homes’ where some of our members have layouts at home that they are prepared to let us near! I will publish where and dates/venues as soon as they are known.

CLUB LAYOUTS
CUTLERS JUNCTION: Testing in DCC and DC is now all completed and all working. Scenic work now underway.
(I might have spoken too soon as some of the points stopped working last week, but problems now sorted)
THE QUARRY: This is now able to run in either DC or DCC
0 GAUGE LAYOUT: Peter L has completed the revised track laying, wiring and point control is being undertaken. Some of the low relief buildings for the station area have been completed by Don.
AUTUMN PROJECT: The Autumn Project is all but finished and is now being offered for sale. Once disposed off, consideration will be given to doing another one.
