WARLEY NATIONAL MODEL RAILWAY SHOW AT THE NEC
We were offered a stand at this year’s show to help promote our club which we took up.
Prior to Warley a small inglenook shunting layout was constructed at the club to have at the show as we were limited to a 6ft x 2ft table.
At present only the minimum amount of scenery was undertaken. Despite this there was plenty of interest from the younger generation.
Thanks to all those who assisted in manning the stand – Peter P, Don, Colin, Peter L, Tony, Mike.
THANK YOU ALL.

OTHER LAYOUTS AT THE CLUB
You may well have seen another layout (7ft x 1ft) at the clubroom. This layout belonged to former member Dave Woodings who suddenly passed away at the start of 2017. His family have kindly let us have his layout (which will be a future project to finish).

MEMBERS LAYOUTS
‘Can you tell what it is yet’ As you may have seen Colin has brought in part of his proposed layout (or is it a model of a ski slope?).

THE AUTUMN PROJECT
The Autumn Project continues apace. With planning, track laying and testing all done. The track was lifted for cork underlay to be placed and painted before fixing down of the track and testing again.
This project is designed for any member no matter what their experience (or lack off) to take part. It is there for you to practise on, don’t worry if mistakes are made!
